four steps to saving rhinos

RCBs sole aim is to prevent the extinction of black and white rhinos in Africa.

To achieve this goal, we are working with the Botswana government, and partners including Wilderness Safaris, to rescue rhinos in peril and bring them to the Okavango Delta. Here, RCB monitors the rhinos and keeps them safe, with the help of the Botswana Defence Force.

Every day rhino monitoring officers gather invaluable data about the rhinos. This is shared with key decision-makers, in order to benefit rhinos across Africa.

All the rhinos reintroduced to the area live entirely wild and free, so occasionally they may wander off into less secure areas. RCB recaptures them and brings them home, safe and sound.

RCB has the expertise, but we can’t save rhinos alone. These animals belong to the world, to all of us. So if you can help in any way – any way at all – it will make a difference. With your support, we can achieve great things for rhinos.”
